Mullins Beach
Mullins Beach is located on the west coast of Barbados, just south of Speightstown and is known for its calm waters and golden sand. The beach is surrounded by palm trees and offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling while you are at Mullins beach. There are also several beachfront restaurants but you can take a short ride to Fishermans Pub in Speightstown to have dinner watching a stunning sunset. Take a look at our Speightstown day trip below:
Dover Beach
Dover Beach is located in Christchurch, just south of St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados. Dover Beach has heavenly soft white sand and clear blue waters. We stayed at Top Rock, walking distance to Dover Beach, for two weeks and Dover Beach was the best beach in Barbados for us. We are from the Mediterranean and for our taste, Dover Beach has crystal blue water with enough shades. It's a popular spot for tourists, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and water sports activities nearby. There are small eateries to have a local cutters sandwich, or you can try a fancy restaurant in St Lawrence Gap after sunset.

Carlisle Bay
Carlisle Bay is a stunning beach close to Bridgetown and Barbados cruise port. You can take a taxi from the cruise port to Carlisle Bay for 5 USD. There are famous Barbados beach clubs at Carlisle Bay, such as The Boatyard Club and Copacabana Beach Club but our choice is the chill beach shack of Savvy On The Bay. Just grab a cold beer or rum punch from the blue wooden cottage and sit under the umbrellas on the wooden benches enjoying the scenery. In the evening, they will light up and the atmosphere will still be vibrant. If you want to see one of the famous ship wrecks in Barbados and swim with turtles, they have 2 hour tours departing right from the beach. Carlisle Bay Beach is also known as Pebbles Beach and it has calm clear waters with white sand. There are not many shades but Savvy On The Bay will get you sorted out about this.
Rockley Beach
Rockley Beach is in Christchurch and you can find everything here for a great beach day. First of all, the sea is great, sometimes wavy but mostly good for swimming. There are many spots under the shade and also public picnic tables. The Richards Haynes Boardwalk at Rockley Beach is a delightful walk on the beach. Apart from the beach, there are shopping malls and supermarkets right on the other side of the main road at Rockley Beach, so you can grab whatever you want and have them at the beach. The restaurants in Rockley Beach range from upscale to street food and the shopping malls in the area have some eateries with great lunch deals. At night, it's also nice with some live music and small bars, a great hangout spot in Barbados. If you're wondering where to stay in Barbados, Rockley Beach makes a perfect base with its central location and amenities. What Part Of Barbados Has The Best Beaches?
In our opinion, the west side of Barbados has the best beaches if you want clear calm waters and sandy beaches. Especially around Christchurch area, the southwest part of Barbados has stunning beaches. For us, Dover Beach was the best among the beaches of Barbados that we had seen. Rockley Beach, Worthing Beach and Carlisle bay are also great spots for enjoying a tropical calm beach with crystal clear waters. However, if you are into surfing, or want some rugged, untouched natural beauty, then the Eastern side of Barbados is your deal. Especially Bathsheba Beach is a popular surfing beach in Barbados with big waves.
